Every week at Our Place and Our Shed there are a range of activities for people to get involved in.

If so come and join us at our community garden..we have regular working bees and lots of fun
Peaceful surroundings with lots of opportunity to make a beautiful community space and enjoy the fruits of the earth.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at Our Place every Saturday night at 6pm.

Fridays @ 7:30am
At Our Shed, this is a great time with music, entertainment, trivia and of course a great feed. Everyone is welcome.
For those who like a bit of exercise be there at 7am and join in a walk around the lake!

Wednesdays @ 11am
The walking group meets at Our Place at 11am to go for a quick walk around Lake Neanger.
You don’t have to be an athlete to join this group as we will walk at your pace, it’s a great time for a casual wander and a chat. |

Bendigo Bushfire Action Group |
Every second Tuesday @ 6pm.
This is a great support group for those who were affected by the Black Saturday Bushfires.

Tuesdays @ 10.30am - 12pm
Children and their parents are here at Our Place to play, have fun and enjoy each others company. There is a snack to eat, games to play and loads of stories to read. |
Mondays @ 10:30am
The Choir meet at Our Place and join in singing. Since beginning just 12 months ago, the choir has become quite well known and is often invited to perform at various venues and functions.
You don’t have to be a ‘qualified’ or ‘professional’ singer to join the choir, just a person willing to raise your voice with others and bring joy and pleasure to others. |

A Community art space has been developed at Our Shed Community Resource Centre.
If you like to paint, sculpt, design, create, invent, then this is the place for you. There are endless opportunities at Our Shed for people of all ages to get involved, learn new skills, develop existing ones and share your talents with others.
Group bookings are most welcome and groups can be catered for if required. With the warmer weather coming up Our Shed is the perfect place to grab a friend and come and get involved in either a personal or community project.

This is a great group for dad’s and bubs to come together, for a cuppa, play and chat. |
Thursdays @ 10am
The Knitters United group meets to knit together for charities all over the world. The Knitters United goods get sent to children in East Timor children, it’s given with love to prem babies, and St Luke’s Anglicare for children in foster care. The knitters also make items for sale and proceeds go towards making a difference in the lives of those who are disadvantaged or at risk.
Why stay home and knit on your own when you can join with others around a table of laughter and chatting.
Patterns, knitting needles and wool are available for those who would like to join in and if you don’t know how to knit and would like to learn, there’s always someone on hand to give instructions and encouragement. |
Wednesdays @ 10am
Craft group meets at Our Place to create and learn all sorts of different crafts. The craft group learns such goodies from scrapbooking, embroidery and gifts. |
Tuesdays @ 2pm
The drama group meets at Our Place at 2pm every Tuesday to perform in small group plays, play theatre games and have a good laugh.
You don’t have to be a ‘professional’ actor or even have a big passion for acting, it is simply a group to come along to and have loads of fun. |

After School Homework Club |
Mondays @ 3:15pm - 5:00pm
If your child needs some extra assistance to bring them to the top of the grade, then allow retired teacher Judy Hasty to help your child gain the knowledge they need. |
