Personal Support

Everyone needs support, someone to care, a listening ear, someone who will share life’s ups and downs.

At ‘Our Place’ our volunteers and staff are ready and willing to do just that. They can give you one on one support and help you develop your own personal plan of action that caters to your unique circumstances. If needed they can assist you with connecting to other agencies and support services and advocate on your behalf.

Through the various groups that meet at ’Our Place’ participants have the opportunity to build positive life nurturing relationships and encourage one another.

To find a group that suits you and your interests ask someone at ‘Our Place’ or check out the ‘Get Involved’ link.

Participation

Our Place’ is a community place where together we work with the community, for the community.

It’s a place where people can develop new friendships and strengthen existing ones.

It’s a place where networks can be formed and community projects developed and established.

At ’Our Place’ everyone is invited and welcomed to participate and contribute in any of the existing groups, or start a new one.

Through participation people are encouraged to share their skills, talents, expertise and experiences.

There are so many ways that you can join us and the work we do at ‘Our Place’. You may like to give financially and support those who need it most through donations of money or materials. You may like to pray for us and the work we do. You may like to contribute through OPM (Our Place Ministries) Community Enterprise by making items for us to sell or give away if needed. You may also like to come and talk to us about becoming a volunteer.

No matter what it is, your support and participation is greatly appreciated.

On our own we can achieve something, but together we can do so much more and really make a difference!
